Kristin loved watching her sons go through the ISR program while living in Houston, TX. After moving back to Lubbock in 2014, she decided to bring this incredible program to West Texas—becoming the area’s first ISR Instructor.
A 2002 graduate of Texas Tech University, Kristin earned her degree in Agricultural Communications. She has been married to her husband, Brad, for over 20 years, and together they have three children: Lane, Brody, and Elyse.
Kristin was both excited and honored to introduce ISR to West Texas, as there was nothing like it at that time between Fort Worth and Arizona. Since then, she has successfully skilled well over 1,000 children of all ages, developmental levels, and abilities—helping families gain both confidence and critical water safety skills.
In 2019, she achieved the distinction of becoming one of ISR’s fewer than 40 Master Instructors worldwide. Since then, she trained more than 40 new ISR Instructors, many of whom now serve families across Texas and New Mexico.
Today, Kristin splits her time between Lubbock, Texas and Los Angeles/Orange County, California, expanding access to ISR lessons while continuing to mentor Instructors and serve families in both communities. Thanks to her dedication and leadership, Lubbock, TX now plays an essential role in providing life-saving ISR lessons to children from all over the world.

After years of serving as a full-time nanny for three ISR children and working at the Child Development Research Center while earning her Bachelor of Science in Human Development & Family Studies from Texas Tech University, Tye followed her calling and joined the ISR Lubbock team.
Tye has been a Certified ISR Instructor for seven years.
Originally from Post, Texas, she now proudly calls Lubbock home, where she lives with her family—Jacob, Harlea, and Baylor.
She is deeply passionate about teaching ISR and feels incredibly honored to work with children of all abilities. Her greatest joy comes from watching each child build confidence, overcome challenges, and experience success in the water.
“Do small things with great love.” — Mother Teresa
This guiding principle shapes Tye’s life and beautifully reflects the heart, care, and dedication she brings to every lesson.

Tori has been serving young children in the Lubbock area for nearly 30 years. She has owned and operated multiple childcare centers, as well as an on-site after-school program for Lubbock-Cooper ISD. Her love for children has extended far beyond the classroom, including her work as a CASA advocate and as a foster and adoptive mom.
She also brings a wealth of experience working with children with special needs.
Through raising her own children, Tori has gained hands-on experience with autism, sensory disorders, learning disabilities, and more. She believes that firsthand understanding, paired with patience, is key to unlocking each child’s potential.
Tori and her husband, Michael, are the proud parents of nine children. Two are now married with families of their own, blessing them with three precious grandchildren who mean the world to her.
In 2016, Tori looked into ISR lessons for her two youngest daughters, who were both three at the time. Like so many families, life became busy, and those plans were put on hold—a decision that would become the greatest regret of her life. On Mother’s Day in 2017, during a family gathering, her four-year-old daughter, Shaelynn, slipped into a pool unnoticed. Though Tori found her within minutes, after 12 hours and extensive medical efforts, Shaelynn passed away.
Since that day, Tori has been a passionate advocate for water safety throughout the Lubbock area. Becoming a Certified ISR Instructor is more than a profession—it is a calling born from love, loss, and a deep commitment to ensure that no other family experiences the same tragedy.

Julia is a highly experienced swimmer and that turned to ISR after watching so many children learn these life saving skills at the Aquatic Center in Denver, CO that she managed. Julia came to Lubbock to train to become on ISR Instructor in 2019 and has been back almost every year since.
Julia loves Lubbock and all of its people with their west Texas charm! She is dedicated to helping our children achieve their goals whether it be in ISR lessons or stroke lessons. Julia is passionate about swimming and loves sharing her vast knowledge and expertise with others.
Julia makes her permeant home just outside of Denver, CO but loves traveling to teach ISR all over the world!

After giving up on finding swimming lessons that would actually work for her two young daughters, she came across ISR. Soon she found herself amazed at the progress of her girls and the confidence they developed with their life saving skills.
Before she knew it, she had been recruited to help with all behind the scenes projects. Many years later and Hallie is our go to girl for all things that need solutions.
Hallie lives in Shallowater with her husband, Clay, 4 daughters a several pups. When she isn't in the thick of ISR paperwork, being mom taxi or farmer wife, she loves to spend her time at the lake.
We are so lucky to have Hallie!
